I picked up from the local supermarket a temperature station with a 868MHz wireless transmitter unit. It is using 'IT+ Instant Transmission' technology from La Crosse (http://www.lacrossetechnology.fr/itplus.php?lang=en). Does anyone now anything about the protocol? Anyone used that with JeeNode?

The transmitter unit has two temperature sensors. The other one is mounted to the unit itself, and the other is attached with a 2 meters wire. So I can keep the unit itself in a warm place and just stick the wired one outside. This solves the battery problem in a cold environment (-10 Celsius currently here).

Interestingly, the transmitter is sending every four seconds and their promise 12 months battery life for the transmitter unit. Let's see what the reality is.

Is the OOK scope not working? Are you seeing this data on the screen? Is the data wrong? I don't understand.

Sorry, didn't realise how much lines I had...
Had too tweak the scope to show short runs. But how do I know that i got some real data,
and how do I determine the pulse lengths from this...

That's exactly the difficult part - I basically try to find the more regular pulse patterns, then I print "packets" out as simple ASCII lists to try and find bit patterns, then sync bits, then byte widths, then bit order, and then the puzzle ends with having to map bits and bytes to actual readings.
Oh, and checksums...

Entropy guys, try to calculate the entropy of that monster.
Sorrey Jean I'm more a theoretical guy :-), which is why I end up doing nothing practical.
