Mi Pressure Plug is always about 24hPa of. While the offical station from the "Austrian Metereologischen Anstalt" (around the corner, same hight) displays 1031.8 hPa, mine only displays somewhat around 1007 hpa. I have no idea what the problem could be, exept that their sensor is place outside.

Sounds like a defective BMP085... is the difference always the same? Are you at the same altitude?

Yes I am at the same altitude as the sensor of the station "Hohe Warte".

Please excuse, I am such an Idiot.
Of course the sensor you sent me had the same difference.
I also bought an SPC 1000 also about 25 mb off.
Then I bought a comercial unit, same difference.
Then I called the "Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik (ZAMG)" and after some waiting a engineer told me they convert the pressure to sea level. He called It "Normal Null". He also sent me an link to their webpage where both values are displayed.
Is this usual practice ?
On the wheater pages where I locked up the current values, only values converted to sea level where displayed, without even a notice.
