List of embedded Linux boards

To be able to support JeeMon for a couple of different embedded Linux boards, I've set up a list on the wiki - see http://wiki.jeelabs.net/p/106

That list will never be complete, of course, but my hope is that a few binaries will be able to cover a lot of boards.

If you've you tried one of the JeeMon binaries and it turns out to work, please post your results here.

Also if you have another interesting board you'd like to see added to the list.

(better still, email me for a wiki login password, and you can make such changes yourself)

When I googled for the (IMHO) most interesting feature of the TS-7500 (OpenCore FPGA ())I came across this list of ARM boards ...

This is from the google cache, because the current page simply tells that the list has by now wandered into a makerbot-internal wiki.

() I did wonder if that meant to be an FPGA whose specs and bitstream format, etc. are openly available ... Apparently not. It is something from Lattice. Ah well.

The link ttp://wiki.jeelabs.net/p/106 is broken.
Where did you buy the TS-7500 board ? Importing from overseas would be pretty expensive imho.

Ah yes, that page died with the wiki changes half a year ago or so.
This one's still around (update: )
Yes, I bought it in the US, I think. Extra shipping costs, but it was just for evaluation. It's no different to me than other Linux boards - works fine, but I don't really see any specific advantage of that particular board over others.
Now that the evaluation is over, I'll be happy to sell it to you, if you're interested.

I was going to look if the venerable old Slug got a mention, I believe I've seen one of them in your bit collection before.

Yes, the NSLU2 is supported. Neat little boxes, I've still got two of 'em collecting dust here...

I've only got the one, but it's been apart so many times I'm amazed I still have all the bits for the case! Have you added the extra USB ports to yours?
Actually, as it isn't doing anything at the moment, I might have a play with Jeemon on it.

I would like to port my subversion server to an embedded system, so I can leave it always on and it would not consume so much power. Do you think the TS-7500 is powerful enough ?

For private use? Yes, I would think so. I've used svn on similar devices, such as the NSLU2 ("slug").
