Hope this is the best place to ask. I've been experimenting with an Arduino + 433 MHz AM module to control HomeEasy devices http://jtlog.wordpress.com/tag/home-easy/
Looking through the Jee Labs shop, I wonder if a JeeLink and a JeeNode could be built with a suitable 433Mhz AM module. If so, they would be perfect for a few projects I'm thinking of.
Worth trying, or no hope? Any tips/suggestions/help would be useful.

I've used a plug with an AM receiver mounted on top (868 MHz, in this case) with good results: http://news.jeelabs.org/2009/11/21/ook-unit/
Am currently considering adding a 433 MHz AM receiver + transmitter (from Conrad) to the shop, so others can more easily replicate this.

Is that what you're after? I.e. mount 433 modules on a JeeNode, and then send/receive from the JeeLink?

Those links look really interesting, although that's not quite what I had in mind. Instead of a relay, I wondered if it was possible to replace the Hope RFM12B radio module with a 433 AM module, especially on the JeeLink, to create a neat HomeEasy USB interface. I've not found a drop in replacement module so I guess there would be some hacking involved. Do you think it would work and, if so, can you suggest any 433 AM module that might work?
