   Last week I was struggling with a CNY70 opto sensor to detect the puls from my gasmeter. After hours struggling I finally decided to use my Very old oscilloscope (GM5655) +/- 1950. And of course the bloody thing just didn't work anymore. (probably the Tar capacitors are defect)

   So, did some googling and found the arduinoscope. (http://accrochages.drone.ws/en/node/90) and http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2006/08/picbasedoscilloscopewi.html Brilliant idea, Use a jeenode with some kind of display(lcd or a PC, or even Jeemon(oops documentation?) and measure the analog input. It is of course not a high frequency solution but for my purpose it should be sufficient. Is the analog input on a jeenode sufficient or is it better to use the analog plug for this ? What is the analog range on a Jeenode 0-3.6 volt? Any reference story's ?

   That would be a neat project for a JeeNode. The Analog Plug is not well suited for this, it only does up to 240 samples per second (in 12 bit mode). With the built-in ADC you can go much higher.

   Built-in ADC is ratiometric, i.e. 1023 = full-scale = AREF = +3V voltage level, normally that would be 3.3V.

   I'll see if I can whip something up in JeeMon in the coming days, because that too would be neat (but no promises!).

   That would be a really nice thingy for me, too!

   I tried counting pulses for my soil moisture sensor but did not succeed. Now i found out that i toasted a transistor so it was not arduinos fault and i will get back to this soon ;)

   Ah, that looks like a great way to get going right away. I was thinking of pushing the ATmega a bit harder, and sending binary data over the serial port - but then again, for simple uses that's probably overkill.

   Sorry, couldn't get it to work yet, I get: Note that release 1.0, libraries must be installed in a folder named 'libraries' inside the 'sketchbook' folder. I have a folder Processing, and in there an unzipped folder called "processing-arduinoscope".

   Yup, had the same issue here.

   Trick is that you need to have the following structures in place:

   "sketchfolder"/libraries/arduinoscope/library/arduinoscope.jar

   "sketchfolder"/libraries/controlP5/library/controlP5.jar

   The ControlP5 gui lib can be downloaded here:
