   Would it be possible to adapt this for JeeLabs? Although a self powered switch is very nice :) for me it would be 'nice'to have some sort of 'JeeSwitch' which could send a signal to a JeeNode when contact is made or lost, even if it would be battery powered.

   Fascinating - thanks for the links.

   I'm working on something that should work off a coin cell, and uses the RFM12B. Hardware is basically ready - it's the software side that takes more work...

   Something like small a "Ping-Device" would be nice. The Device should send a unique ID evere x Minutes. Nice for presence detection :)

   Ohhh, that's quite cunning... I had a feeling it might be piezo crystal powered I remember zapping my brother with one of the piezo gas lighters as a kid :-)

   I know the guys, they were using piezos shoes for power harvesting. I would rather go for a solar powered jeenode with a coin cell backup battery. Maxim has some nice application notes about their solar application chips: It's worth a look. Besides this was one of next projects. :-)
