   I just want to inform you, that the

   TI eZ430 Chronos watch,

   For myself I ordered two of them, hoping that they will work with the RF12B 868 MHz.

   I want to inform you, that this watch is a geek must have. If you don´t buy it, you are definitely not a geek ;-)

   Aaha are you a sales man from TI?!?!!?!? I saw that product some time ago, but I wasn't really impressed by the specs, you can build better open source wireless imu by yourself. Neverthless being an MSP430 developer myself, I really would like to see in action the wireless in system debugging.

   I am not a Ti sales man. The watch is available since the end of 2009, but it wasn´t available for several month now. It is just a nice gadget to interface with the jeenodes, isn´t it?

   And by the way: build a useable wearable, programmable watch for me - if you think it is that easy.... I am very interested to see the results ;-)

   Yes the CC1101 is a very versatile RF chip and supports also OOK that can be used to interface with the jeenode. The OOK will be the easiest to implement, you just need to turn On/Off the PA, but as I said I didn't buy one of this kit because I had a similar watch like prototype. :-) I don't know how easy to use is the SDK and how many easy to use libraries are included for the CC1101. I will give it a look and if I can program it, i can get a sample. :-)

   Oky Lace you convinced me! I pre-ordered a EZ430-CHRONOS-868 from Farnell UK, at only 35 GBP very nice price considering also the IAR workbench included and the support/demo code already available.

   There was a OOK implementation already from the open firmware, I didn't have time to test with the jeenodes I got sucked up in the norduino project recently. :-p
