Congratulations on your successful modifications of the ASURO robot platform. Based on your experience, is it possible (and worthwhile) to modify the robot to add a 3.3V or 5v regulator for the MCU supply - while retaining a 5.8 (NiCd or NiMH) or 6V (alkaline) supply for the H-bridge circuit?
Your advice will be most appreciated.

P.S. What about running the ASURO on a LiPoly battery at 3.7V? Will that work?
