   Hi!

   I don't know if I'm going to ask a stupid thing... forgive me if it is.

   is it possible to mount an antenna in the wheel of a bicicle??? I would like to install a jeenode in a wheel, but I guess that the antenna will not work if it is rotating all the time.

   I was searching in internet and found a kind of antenna called "loop antenna". Would it work???

   if this is impossible (as I think), is it possible to get a kind of "contact disc"? (to mount the antenna outside the wheel and the other parts inside)

   why you think it should not work when the antenna is rotating? its NOT a stupid question but realy interesting topic :-)

   The rotation should not be a problem. Packets take only a few milliseconds, the antenna really won't move that much in such a short time. It'll be in a different spot with each packet, but so what.

   The electrical aspects of a bike, i.e. the spokes and frame, might be a bigger problem. I have no idea to what extent all that metal will interfere. Then again, if the distance is only a meter or two to some other part of a bike, then my guess is that it'll work just fine...

   (Let's ignore Doppler effects :)
