When in debugging mode, my Terminal program is the main interface, showing results and allowing inputs.
But each change in the program requires physical un-plugging of the Jeenode, which could cause damage. I could put a button on-board the Jeenode I suppose, but if there is an easier way.
Is there a simple way to RESET the CPU , or restart the program, just with Terminal keystrokes.?
What platform?
On Mac (and Windows, AFAIK), the reset is automatic on each new connection open. On Linux, toggling DTR will generate a reset.
I am using Win7 Pro and toggling DTR works also. Thanks for the suggestion JC.
[perhaps googling would help, but still] How do you toggle DTR in this case?
The Terminal program I am using has has a DTR button apart from numerous other helpful items.
If you click the DTR button, it causes a Reset on the Jeenode.
Search for bray++ terminal or try the following www.braypp.googlepages.com/terminal
In my case the easiest way to achieve this is to change the port speed (to the same) and the Jeenode resets itself....
ie this simulates closign and opening the port under OsX.
