Following a post earlier about RFM12B settings I found an even earlier post with a link to a windows VB application which helps you calculate settings.
Unfortunately there were many comments on it saying it didn't work on Windows 7, and there didn't seem to be any recent activity on the website. I even had problems making it work on my Windows XP, but solved that by finding a different ocx file from one of my other machines.
Anyway, it got me thinking. It's a very useful tool, pity it doesn't work on more operating systems... So I made my own :-)
And added a few niceties too, like a copy (with CR or CRLF line breaks) to the clipboard, so you can get all the settings in one hit.
I used Lazarus (which is an IDE on top of the free pascal compiler). Open source Delphi :-) It is available for Mac and Linux too.
I'm going to set it up on my Debian machine in the morning and create a linux X86 executable, does anyone out there in intarweb land want to build the Mac version for me?
And can anyone try my 32bit exe on Windows 7 and Vista?
