I got my graphics board - very nice piece of kit. However I'm having a slight problem getting it to work. I've checked and rechecked the soldering etc. It does power up with the demo sketch and for a fraction of a second I get the expected display. The display then goes completely white. I can see the text faintly if I view from a angle of about 45 degrees. Any ideas? Thanks Dan

Hm, strange. Never seen this on the 3 displays I built here. Could you email me some photo's? What voltage are you powering the graphics display from?
No problem. Will email you shortly
Many Thanks Dan
We've resolved it by email: in case others run into this problem, the solution is to use this copy of the ST7565 library - http://jeefiles.equi4.com/ST7565.zip
I suspect that the ST7565 chip is set in a different voltage-doubling mode in Adafruit's current software, but I haven't looked at the differences yet.
Works very well with this library. Thanks for the fix. I've had a first glance at your library vs the one on the adafruit website. There seems to be a difference right at the start -
the adafruit library:
#define BLACK 1 #define WHITE 0
#define BLACK 0 #define WHITE 1
which to my mind would explain what I saw. That may be an oversimplification......
