   Hello all,

   I am trying connect the RF12 module to a arduino 'duemilanove'. As long as I use pin 10 (SS) for selecting the rf12 module everything works fine. But if I try to change ss towards another pin, initialize seems to work but nothing else.
   Any Ideas?

   I think you have to make SS an output, even if you don't use it for the RF12 - it's required if the ATmega is an SPI master.

   Just interested if you were able to get this to work?

   I have changed the

       #define SSPORT     PORTB
       #define SSBIT      2
       #define SPISS      10    

   code in RF12.cpp to

       #define SSPORT     PORTD
       #define SSBIT      3
       #define SPISS      3

   and the wiring to digital pin 3, and added pinMode(10,OUTPUT); to my code that was otherwise working, but have had no luck (on a few different pins).

   Is there something else that I should change in the hardware/software?

   I wish to eventually use an ethernet shield or yellowjacket via SPI also.
