   I wonder if there is a (simple) way to change the name that appears in Arduino for the USB serial ports for the USB BUB and the JeeLink? When working on projects I seem to accidentally flash the JeeLink from time to time.. :) I imagine the risk of this would be less if the name of the port indicated more intuitively what kind of device it is representing.

   Any ideas? :)

   I don't know if it works for os x but it probably will:

   Create a symlink from your actual device in /dev/$complicatedjeenodedevicename to something like /dev/jeelink

   Open terminal and type:

   sudo ln -s /dev/$actual.name.of.device /dev/jeelink
