   The situation :

   software transmitter = fs20demo sketch
   software receiver = recv868ook.pde source code

   hardware transmitter = jee node I with RFM12
   hardware transmitter = elv remote FS20 S8
   receiver 1 = conrad hardware RX868-3v connected to analog 1 jeenode II
   receiver 2 = Funkschalter (mains switch) FS20 ST3

   First I checked the receiver 1 with FS20 S8 remote this is ok ,see earlier posts.
   all 8 codes are received.

   Then I checked the transmitter (jee-node) with receiver 2 this is ok ,it swichtes
   off en on ,everywhere in the house.

   SO ,now i checked if the Jeenode receiver could receive the jee-node transmitter,
   and to my suprise it couldn't !, so it receives codes from all conrad transmitters
   but not from the jeenode transmitter, the Funkschalter (mains switch) FS20 ST3
   works fine with the jeenode transmitter.

   I checked the frequentie from the conrad remote transmitter specs = 868.35
   real with freq scanner = 868.25 , i changed the frequentie off the RFM to
   this frequentie => rf12xfer(0xa68a);
   This didn't help.

   When i am listenig to my frequentie scanner i hear some difference ,between
   jeenode transmitter and remote elv transmitter, i tried to change timings
   in the fs20demo sketch ,but did did'nt help.

   I know will trie to see the difference with a scoop.

   jc have you any idees ,what the problem could be.

   The way the JN sends OOK is a nasty trick: it tries switch the xmitter on and off in the proper pattern. There is bound to be some jitter in the generated signal, although I've not seen any problems here (are fairly close range). Maybe also turn-on and turn-off isn't doing quit the same as a simple OOK/ASK xmitter.

   A scope check may indeed help find the cause. Frequency difference is also a good point. I don't have equipment which can measure at these RF frequencies, but I do have a scope and logic analyzer. Let me know if you can find anything else.

   You're saying that all combinations except JN xmit via RF12 w/ JN recv w/ OOK work, right?

   The RF frequencies are ok.

   Yes, the jeenode receiver (software) with RX868-3v hardware receives from all the elv (conrad) transmitters but not from the , jeenode transmitter (RFM12 hardware.)

   The Conrad receivers (the Funkschalter mains switch) FS20 ST3) receive from the jeenode
   transmitter very good.(this is the strange part ?)

   With a scope it seems that the "dutycycle" off the jeenode transmitter is not 50 % on
   and off.
   1 = not 575uS on and not 575 off and
   0 = not 375uS on and not 375 off but it's hard to trigger I am not
   certain yet ,it seems that 1 must be more on.
   I think it's 60 % 1 and 40 % 0 , with the jeenode transmitter.

   Tommorow I 'll have a Diagnosetool from elv the FS20DT ,so I can see
   faster if it locs on the FS20 command send by the jeenode transmitter
   it has two leds betrieb and empfang ,and a display with housecode
   adress and command. it must react within 1 meter on a good FS20 command.
   I'll try to test it.
