   Hi,

   i would like to use a Jeenode to make temperature acquisition and transmit to another jeenode connected to a computer. I have relays that are controlled on an arduino board with 5 Volts. I would like to use these relays, but i don't know if it will be possible. I have seen that jeenode need 3.3 Volts, but i can't find informations for the Jeenode V5. If Jeenode V5 needs only 3.3V, what will be the tension of digital outputs ? Will i be able to control the relays with 3.3V, or do i have to buy relays that can be controlled with 3.3V ? I have the same questions for an NTC which works on 5V. Would it work with 3.3V ?

   Most relays rated for 5V won't activate on just 3.3V. The relay plug (unavailable right now) has extra drivers to overcome this (with the relays connected to the PWR line with 5V on it). Another option is to use a transistor and a few resistors. Yet another option would be to use the Output Plug.

   NTC's are just resistors (with a Negative Temperature Coefficient). Should work identically on 3.3V and 5V.

   Ey jc, didn't you receive your relays from Conrad yet? I'd call them in that case, I received mine last week. They should have at least some.

   Nope. The other source pushed the deliver date back to end June. I'll call Conrad asap. Thanks for letting me know.
